A Salute To Olympic Entrepreneurs

picture-4It’s one thing to be an entrepreneur trying desperately to make it in such a competitive environment. But what if, in addition to your entrepreneurial duties of running your own small business, you were also training for the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver?

Talk about multitasking.

The Wall Street Journal reveals what it’s like for several entrepreneurs who are also scheduled to participate and compete in this year’s Winter Olympics.

Shannon Bahrke will be competing in the mogul skiing competition and she also started Silver Bean Coffee Co., a coffee-roasting outfit in Salt Lake City.

Michelle Roark, one of Ms. Bahrke’s teammates, runs Phi-nomenal LLC, a boutique that sells various fragrances. Ms. Roark is not only getting set to compete, but she’s also about to launch a new men’s fragrance just after the Olympics.

Noelle Pikus-Pace, an Olympic skeleton racer, is also the owner of Snowfire Hats, based in Eagle Mountain, Utah.

All three mention in the article that they thrive on the demands of their lives. In addition to rooting for their success, UnderstandingMarketing.com salutes these hard-working entrepreneurs and wishes each of them great success in the coming Olympic Games.
