Small business owners and entrepreneurs view marketing and PR differently than at the beginning of 2009. Is it safe to say a year from now small business will have again made significant strides in the kind of marketing they’re doing for the companies? After all, two years ago it was a little strange to think a small business owner would be so focused on social media. But look at all the entrepreneurs today on Twitter and Facebook.
So what’s in store for 2010? Through the American Express Small Business Open Forum, John Jantsch has made five predictions of what to expect for small business and marketing in 2010. Things like location-based marketing and cloud computing for small business are two predictions that he will most likely be on target with.

Great post. I definitely think that iPhone applications and anything that can be accessed via a mobile device will be on trend for 2010.
